Orbweaver — Data Privacy Framework (DPF) Privacy Notice

1. Participation in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the UK Extension to the EU–U.S. DPF

Orbweaver, LLC complies with the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU–U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU–U.S. DPF, as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Orbweaver, LLC has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU–U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU–U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy notice and the EU–U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern.

Our DPF certification applies to non-HR personal data only, including business, customer, vendor, and similar contact data. Orbweaver, LLC does not process HR-related personal data under the DPF.

2. Personal Data We Collect and Purposes of Processing

We may collect personal data such as name, email address, phone number, business identifiers, and related contact information. This data is processed for purposes such as delivering contracted services, managing business relationships, and supporting authorized communications.


3.Sharing and Onward Transfers

Orbweaver, LLC may disclose personal data to third-party service providers or agents acting on our behalf and under our instructions. Orbweaver, LLC remains liable under the EU–U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU–U.S. DPF for onward transfers of personal data to third parties unless it proves it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.


4. Retention and Purpose Limitation

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Data is securely deleted once it is no longer required.

The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over Orbweaver, LLC’s compliance with the EU–U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU–U.S. DPF.


7. Complaints, Recourse, and Binding Arbitration

Questions or complaints related to this privacy notice or our DPF compliance may be submitted to privacy@orbweaver.com.

In compliance with the EU–U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU–U.S. DPF, Orbweaver, LLC commits to refer unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on these frameworks to the International Centre for Dispute Resolution / American Arbitration Association (ICDR-AAA), an independent dispute resolution provider based in the United States. These services are provided at no cost to the individual.

If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint, or if it has not been satisfactorily addressed, you may file a complaint or obtain additional information at: https://go.adr.org/dpf_irm.html

Under certain conditions, individuals may invoke binding arbitration, as set forth in Annex I of the EU–U.S. DPF Principles, provided that the required procedures and conditions are met.


8. Disclosure for Legal and Public Authority Requests

Orbweaver, LLC may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.


9. Updates to This Notice

This privacy notice may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
